Once again, you woke up far from early, but in a very violent way. And once again it was for the same reason, the same as always, a filthy nightmare ripping you off from your sleep. It was even more awful than the other times. You felt your full body wrapped, tied, slaughtered by tons of ice. Behind you, you felt the presence of an enormous beast, mass of muscles and white fur with frightening, glowing in the dark, light blue eyes. When it came in front of you, you guessed it was a werewolf. You felt as weak as the red little hood and as you thought that, the ice disappeared, leaving you with a fancy little dress and a red hoodie. Awesome. Well, you ran as fast as possible, and when you had a sensation of hollow under your feet, you woke up.

You were safe in a warm and comfy bed, your bedroom were your shelter, but the tears rushed down from your big and shiny eyes, soaking your cheeks and dripping from your chin to fall on the pale, soft, silky sheets. Soon, your imaginary friend appeared in front of you. He gently came closer, getting rid of your tears before hugging you tight in his imaginary but strong arms, patting your head and whispering you to calm down, that everything was over. That it was just a nightmare, it was just in your head, and that it was nothing to be afraid anymore now. Because he would be there if anything occurred. He would protect you just like a knight, and treat you like if you were his lovely, beloved princess. Inside of you, you couldn't help but ponder. Would he do that for you, or for himself ?

Everything said, he indeed treated you like a princess. He carried you in the bathroom, letting you wash your slim, little body, after what he brought you your clothing, who once were matching your tastes better than his own ones. So it was just a short short made of thick black cotton with a large and long blue sky shirt, with a cute embroidery of Rainbow Dash from the My Little Pony series. Then, he ran at the kitchen to fill a cup with some hot tea and you heard a loud noise coming from the main door. Someone was knocking. You quickly looked around yourself for less than a second, and suddenly guessed that all your flatmates were very probably out, because of the flat's quietness. But it couldn't be one of them, right ? They all had the key. Slowly, you came closer, and grabbed the doorknob. The door opened, a unknown girl behind. You gently tried to smile, arguing in a shy and careful way.

- Hello... ? You... you're searching for someone ?

It had been quite a while since your brother had arrived on the island. You hadn’t seen him for several years, more than 12 years; but these days, Chan, your complicity looked like you had always known each other. Not only that he was a gentle and funny person, but his power was truly amazing. Someone else would use the power of making magical artefacts for being strong and unrivaled, still Shun applied it to create some original items. It was more interesting; and this day, you wanted to go at his shack in order to discover if he could make something cool with your red scarf — and also because you loved paying your brother a visit. You knocked at the door, waiting for him to open it as usual. However, another person opened it instead. A brown-haired girl, who was as tall as you. As she saw you in front of her, she looked a bit shy even if she offered you a small smile. You smiled too. She asked you if you were searching for someone.

— Hello! Yes, I’m searching for my brother, Shun. He lives here.

You linked your hands together and took a look behind the unknown girl. Then, you realized that there were any sounds in the whole house. It seemed that nobody besides her was there.

— Oh… are you all alone?

Your expression looked quite disappointed and you sighed. While you were staring at the empty room, you're thinking about what to do then. Regarding the situation, it was totally pointless to stay here. Still, Chan, you didn’t want to go that early. Supposing that he could be back very soon, maybe it would be better to wait for his return. Not only that, but this girl appeared to be a really nice person. Maybe a part of you found a shame to not learn who she was. Maybe a part of you found a shame to leave her all alone in this empty shack. Maybe... Maybe it was better you to stay, Chan. Then, you turned your eyes toward the pretty girl, smiling at her in a gently but quite embarrassed way.

— Is he going to be back soon ? Err... I was thinking... If I don't annoy you, can I stay here for a moment ? I can make some tea for you if you want.

Then, you were waiting for an answer.

You couldn't help but peek at the girl's body. She was sure cute. Not very taller or smaller than you, she had almond shaped eyes, a lovely glowy dewy skin and an angelic smile. Long locks of brown, shiny, lovable-looking hair were falling on and around her shoulders. And on her face, a lovely little smile who was here only for you, little answer to your own. Her words surprised you, though. So she was Shun's sister, searching for him. For a second, you wanted to answer that you knew who he was, because you were living here too, after all. You felt kinda worthless and even if you actually were in comparison with her brother, your hidden pride became hurtful. You sighed slightly. Whatever. You felt bitter when she asked you if you were alone.

You actually weren't alone, regarding that an imaginary boy was actually making you tea. While you were thinking to explain her everything, the girl seemed also to be drowning under a ton of thoughts. She wasn't looking at you, but behind you, and that was very disturbing. Was Aaron behind you ? Maybe the girl had a weird power who could let her see him ? You weren't very sure, but quickly guessed that she wasn't staring at anything in special. Soaking in the actual silence, you tried to catch her look, and talk, but she did that first. A piece of laughing gets out of your mouth without you being not even able to refrain it.

- I'm sorry, I have no idea... I'm awake since less than an hour and I was already alone then... Well, I'm never alone because of my power, huh... But you can stay. It's good to see new peoples...

You peeked around yourself and you made the girl enter before yelling a "Aaron !" in all the little shack. She sure would ask herself what you were doing, but you tried to ignore the awkwardness when he came thing a cup in his right hand. You smiled at the girl, then, and tried to speak.

- My power is... my imaginary friend, Aaron. Aaron, it's Shun's...

The cup fell when Aaron heard the name of the young blue eyed boy and you felt ashamed.

- His sister. Her name is...

You blushed again. You totally forgot to ask.

- Oh, I didn't even asked you ! I'm Cassidy, what about you ?

Never alone. How strange. You were asking yourself what could her power be. Maybe she had the possibility to invoke a legendary creature, or some animals. Or maybe an imaginary friend, as well as Leann.

— Really ? Thanks !

Then, you entered in the shack. At the same time, she yelled a strange name in the room. Aaron. Aaron ? You understood who was that person when a flying cup of tea came in front of you. You looked a bit surprised, but you could finally make a conclusion. The conclusion had been confirmed by the unknown girl.

— I see. Nice to meet you Aaron.

You were talking to an invisible person of course - you even smiled at him. Although, it was a bit double-faced, because you had some prejudice against that power. You already knew how troublesome an imaginary friend could be - you knew how annoying was Kei, the imaginary friend of Leann. You only wished Aaron was a nice one. However, when your brother's name had been pronounced, you heard the sound of a broken glass. You could think this was a coincidence, just an unfortunated clumsyness, but this girl's expression seemed to prove the opposite. How strange huh ? You would know the reason after. For the moment, you finally learnt her name. Cassidy.

— My name is Chan. Seems like our parents loved short names huh ? You laughed, then you made a short break, staring at the floor. Hmm just wait a second, ok ?

You immediatly went to the kitchen, in order to search a brush. When you found it, you used the telekinesis with the intention of brooming the fragments. Quite pratical, huh ? You were proud of yourself, and looked in the direction of Cassidy.

— I think it's more pratical to use my power to solve that problem, isn't it ? You can call it "telekinesis."

You were concentrated to pick up all the debris, too concentrated to say anything ; you directed the brush to the trash can. Then, a bit tired, you took a chair and sat down on it. Chan, you had not to forget you only were a guest : you were acting so shamelessy.

— It's done, heh heh. Ahh, you looked really proud of yourself, even if you just made an easy feat, as usual, didn't you ? You always loved showing how great was your power, didn't you ? Yes, indeed. Silence. You didn't add anything else for a moment. You were thinking, and your smile disappeared, or became a bit sweeter and less glittering. Hey, I was wondering : was that awkwardness truly an accident ?
